Where the joy of music meets today’s technology!

Using incredibly versatile digital pianos and intuitive software, beginners learn the basics of music, reinforced with fun, interactive games. More advanced students learn dozens of exciting techniques to master their own compositions. Everyone makes a CD of their work to share with the family. There’s no better way to learn to love music!

GIRLS A CAPPELLA CHOIR

This by-audition ensemble has performed for 25 years. A favorite of audiences of all ages throughout the year and across the Cape.

GIRLS CHORUS

A wonderful introduction to group singing for young girls. Students will learn the basics of proper vocal techniques, harmony and performance techniques. The group will perform several times throughout the year.

Especially designed for beginners, the group environment is a relaxed and fun setting. Taught in our new Digital Learning Lab with 5 amazing electronic keyboards.

Private Music Lessons

The Cape Cod Conservatory offers private and semi-private instruction in all musical instrument groups and voice. Our faculty is unsurpassed in quantity and quality; many of them perform with the Cape Cod Symphony and other nationally recognized groups. We continue to add outstanding teachers from the Boston area so that you don’t have to drive there. This approach provides a wide range of options to suit a student’s skill level and goals. For 16 weeks of private lessons:

One-hour lessons: $880
45-minute lessons: $660
30-minute lessons: $440

Length and frequency of lessons are determined by the teacher and student. Some teachers have higher rates.

Suzuki Method Instuction

The highly popular Suzuki method is available for flute and classical guitar. Parents are highly involved in this approach, attending weekly lessons and assisting with practice sessions at home. We recommend a conference with faculty members Joe Scott (Guitar Department head) or Will Pfluger to assure the student has a properly sized instrument. Suzuki method Flute instruction is with Ms. Mariellen Sears. Ms. Sears, a long-time member of the Cape Cod Symphony, is one of the Cape’s most respected teachers.

String Ensemble for all ages

A wonderful opportunity to explore the Baroque and Early Classical repertoire for violin, viola, cello and bass players.  Suzuki Book II or equivalent experience is required.  A fun, collaborative and easy-going evnvironment that will culminate in community performances thanks to a generous grant from the Cape Cod Melody Tent.
