Basic Photography

Basic Photography helps individuals with little to no experience with digital SLR cameras learn the fundamentals of photography in a supportive and interactive setting.  Students will gain confidence to move beyond point-and-shoot mode to capture eye-catching images more consistently.  Taught over a period of six weeks by Dorene Sykes, professional portrait and fine art photographer, the classes include lectures, demonstrations, hand-outs, assignments, and photo critiques. 

Classes are limited to 10 students to maximize individual support.

A digital SLR camera is required.

Adults and youth are invited to participate.
