Every month, the Conservatory offers exceptional musicians in an intimate setting reminiscent of the private concerts of European royalty. Each event is followed by a reception with the artists. Seating is limited so please call for a reservation.

Pianist Jacqueline Schwab Performs

Jacqueline Schwab is a folk and classical improvisational pianist who plays "gorgeously spare piano" (The Boston Globe) yet "sounds as if she has an orchestra at her fingertips" (Sing Out). Chosen by the renowned Ken Burns for numerous public television documentaries due to the emotional expression in her playing, Jacqueline has performed on the soundtracks for the Grammy award-winning Civil War, the Emmy award-winning Baseball and Mark Twain, among others. She has performed at the White House for President Clinton and also at the Smithsonian.
Ms. Schwab performs at the opening of our "Great Women Artists of Orleans" art reception. Artists include Joyce Aaron, Florence Adams, Rita Doddridge, Jane Eccles, Catherine
Hertz, Diane Johnson, Martine Jore, Barbara Melcher, Matrie Morongell,
Melora North, Phyllis Szerejko, Betty Twiss and Marge Uhl.
The concert features student performer is Daniel Muller, pianist, who is a merit scholarship student of
Loretta Slovak. Mr. Muller's program includes a piece by Rachmaninoff.
