Withdrawal and Refund Information

Registration obligates a student to fulfill an entire semester or class session. Notice of withdrawal must be made in writing to the Conservatory administration office in West Barnstable. Lapsed attendance from lessons or classes does not nullify your obligation to pay for the remainder of the semester.

If it becomes necessary for a student to withdraw, a full refund, minus the registration fee, is available to any student withdrawing prior to the first day of class.  Due to the abbreviated length of the summer semester, no tuition refunds are available after classes begin.

The Conservatory reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, in which case a refund will be made in full, including registration fees.

Weather closings & Cancellation policy

The Cape Cod Conservatory follows the Falmouth and Barnstable Public Schools closing policies.

At our Falmouth campus, we will cancel all classes if the Falmouth Public Schools cancel classes, have an early dismissal, or cancel after-school activities. We will have a late arrival if the Falmouth Public Schools have a late arrival.

At our West Barnstable campus, we will cancel all classes if the Barnstable Public Schools cancel classes, have an early dismissal, or cancel after-school activities. We will have a late arrival if the Barnstable Public Schools have a late arrival.

Any classes cancelled due to weather-related issues will be made up.
